Val Visdende Chiesa della Madonna della Neve

La Val Visdende

Val Visdende - 16 minutes 9,2 km from via Cignotto

Val Visdende is the ideal area for a regenerating, digital detox holiday amidst the colors of nature and pure air.

It is an uncontaminated valley of the Belluno Dolomites, located in the Val Comelico area, and it is recognized as one of the last naturalistic oases preserved from mass tourism.

Thanks to the rich network of paths and mule tracks, it can be admired thanks to some walks, more or less difficult, both in summer and in winter and also through e-bike and mountain bike excursions.

From Val Visdende you can see the breathtaking Monte Peralba, which many hikers choose as a destination to reach the Piave springs.

I “Troi”, i sentieri Tematici

I “Troi”, the Thematic Trails- 28 minutes, 19,3 km from Via Cignotto

The “Troi” are thematic paths that link the villages of Upper Comelico. From Dosoledo begins the TRÒI DLI MASCRI (trail of the masks), the TRÒI DLI TRADIZION (trail of traditions) connect Candide to Dosoledo village.

The TRÒI DI BACANI (trail of farmers) goes from Casamazzagno to Dosoledo.

The TRÒI DI MESTIERI (trail of crafts) joins Padola with Dosoledo.

Along the paths of “Troi” there are some wooden statues that tells the theme of the trail.

These walks are enriched by the scents, the atmosphere and the silence of the woods, by the green of the meadows and the typical blue skies of the Cadore Dolomites.

Comprensorio Sciistico Val Comelico

Val Comelico Ski Area - 29 minutes and 18,3 km from via Cignotto

The “Ski Area Val Comelico” is part of “Dolomiti Superski” that is the biggest ski area of the world. To ski in this area the skipass Dolomiti Superski is requested https://www.dolomitisuperski.com.

In the surroundings, the nearest ski ropes are in Padola, and reach approximately 2000 mt above Col d’la Tenda. Here begins the itinerary of the “UNESCO Dolomites Natural Park”, a wonderful sporting experience to discover the Sesto Dolomites and Val Comelico.

Tre Cime di Lavaredo

The Tre Cime del Lavaredo (Three Peaks of Lavaredo) , 1 hours and 9 minutes - 49,9 km from via Cignotto

Tre Cime del Lavaredo are three of the most beautiful and most famous peaks in the Dolomites, and are located in the Sesto Dolomites.

Mountaineers consider them authentic natural wonders and they represent one of the best-known destinations in the world for these sportsmen.

For mountain lovers, a visit to the Tre Cime Natural Park is a must.

Val Comelico

Val Comelico - 11 minutes and 6,3 km from via Cignotto

Val Comelico is an enchanting place, where immense woods, green meadows, houses and barns meet. A landscape interrupted only by small villages of rare beauty, so that the well-known poet Giosuè Carducci fell in love with Val Comelico. In his poem “Cadore” he wrote “And all the green Comelico is scattered of villages, hidden among the pines and firs”.
